Imphal, November 04 2008: Claiming responsibility for the firing attack at the Thongju Boroimakhong residence of Dr Thokchom Joy, information and publicity secretary of armed outfit KLA (U) Galngam Kuki said it was the last warning to all the family members of the doctor against their attempt to instigate arrest of the party cadres who have gone to have some talks by raising false alarm of showing gun and discriminatory attitude to the organisation.

If the family members do not try to bring about an amicable solution by tomorrow, then they themselves should be held responsible for any untoward incident, Galngam said, while asking the local club and Meira Paibis to stay away from organising any dharna in this connection.

Galngam further claimed that the bomb left at the Khangabam Leikai residence of Lokham Mani was also done by KLA (U) as last warning.

If no effort have been made to resolve the matter within two days, Mani himself should be held responsible for any eventuality.

Other family members should also stay alert until the matter has been resolved with Mani, Galngam warned, while adding that staging dharna would not bring about any solution.
