Imphal, January 03: The body of Ningthoujam Ingocha of Nongmaikhong who was found shot dead at Thongam Thongkhong in Thoubal district on December 31 last is yet to be claimed by anybody even as the JAC formed in connection with the killing has announced its decision of intensifying the ongoing stir until a clarification has been provided by the unknown killers.

The Joint Action Committee against the killing of Ningthoujam Ingocha Meetei, Nongmaikhong today convened a public meeting at Irong Litan Makhong Phouobi ground and arrived at various resolutions.

The meeting resolved not to take back the body until the truth about the matter has been known.

The meeting has also resolved to hold another meeting on January 4 to decide further course of action to be taken up in case nobody came up with any explanation on the killing.
