Imphal, November 21 2009: Womenfolk of Singjamei area staged a protest demonstration today at Singjamei Keithel against the bomb blast there at November 19 .

The protest demonstration was staged decrying the grenade blast inside an AR vehicle which also caused injuries to two civilians in addition to three AR personnel.

The explosion also panicked the people of the surrounding area as well as people from other areas who were present there.

The protesters put up placards which read as "Don't create panicky situation civilian populated areas", "Don't trigger bomb blasts in crowded areas" etc.
