Imphal, May 19: While expressing serious concern over the ongoing factional fights of the NSCN in some parts of Dimapur, president of Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) president Stephen Angkang has appealed to all concerned not to show any discrimination to the Tangkhul people living there.

Talking to some mediapersons at the TNL office located at Ukhrul district headquarters today, Stephen pointed out that following the violent incident, none of the Tangkhul people living in Nagaland have not been able to venture out of their houses and they are now like stranded passengers.

'All these years, we have been waiting patiently in the hope that the outcome of the Indo-Naga peace talks would be good and it would resolve the problem.

But so far, no tangible result has come about, thus causing apprehension and confusion in the mind of the people', the president of the apex boy of the Tangkhul community observed.

'We don't want the peace talks to be a mockery.

But our faith on its outcome is losing ground day by day', he said, adding that the Government of India should be answering for all these confusion.

Otherwise, what steps should be taken up by the TNL in this regard would be decided after a joint consultation, the Tangkhul leader said.
