Imphal, May 07 2009: In condemnation of murdering its member identified as Afo Mao s/o late Kholi of Tumuyan khullen as well as to express solidarity to the bereaved family, Senapati District Motor Vehicle Owners' Association would be taking out a silent protest vehicle rally on May 11 .

According to a statement issued by Association secretary Sahdev Gurung, the protest rally would flag off at around 6 am from Karong and would conclude at T Khullen at around 10 am.

Afterward, a condolence meeting would also be held at Senapati Bazar.

Gurung has also appealed to all transport assciations and union to fly black flags on their vehicles and halt service from 6 am to 100 am on May 11 as mark of respect and final adieu to the departed soul.
