Imphal, November 30 2009: Strongly condemning the murder of former Thayong village chief L Reyamkhup Kom (52) by some armed persons at about 11.30 pm of November 25, the Komrem People's Army has asked all concerned to own and explain the killing at the earliest.

A press release issued by KRPA information and publicity secretary Rakesh Kom said that a 13 member special task force led by G-10 Kom has been constituted to investigate into the murder.

Those found guilty for the murder would be attacked at the first available opportunity, it said.

The party also conveyed condolence to the bereaved family.
