Imphal, May 31: Reacting to the charges of UNLF and KYKL, PRO HQ IGAR (S) in a press rebuttal, said the Assam Rifles formations and units deployed in Manipur are carrying out counter insurgency/counter terrorist operations against all outlawed groups as per the policies of the Government.

False and baseless allegations made by terrorists groups are mainly to divert the attention of the public from their nefarious activities and continue with their agenda of carrying out extortion and depriving the State and public from the fruits of development, the PRO said, reiterating that the Assam Rifles troops will continue to carry out effective operations against all terrorists groups as per the laid down policies.
