KCP-MC accuses Airtel staff

Imphal, December 31 2009: Referring to the death of two KCP-MC activists at the hands of security forces recently, the proscribed outfit has alleged that the two cadres were killed because of a conspiracy hatched by five staff of Airtel in collusion with security forces.

A press release issued by the outfit's information and public relations officer Puranthaba alleged that Airtel's sales manager Nongmeikappam Dorendro, distributor Akham Bipin, territory manager RK Bipin, click communication managers Khangenbam Joychandra and Thouchom Okendro.

Saying that the outfit would take strong actions against the five Airtel staff, it also cautioned all families at whose home Airtel towers are installed.

Condoling the death of the two comrades, the outfit also shared the pain and grief being endured by the bereaved families.

It further claimed responsibility for the bomb blast at Sky Hospital and Research Institute, RIMS Road on December 27 .

The bomb was planted for the failure of the hospital authority to abide by the rules and regulations prescribed by the party, it added.
