Imphal, May 29 2009: Asserting that office bearers and members of different student organisations were arrested in connection with the killing of Prof Md Islamuddin and not as leaders or members of student organisations, the SSP of Imphal West, L Kailun today said that incriminating documents and materials have been recovered from their possession.

The documents indicate the nexus between some UG elements and student organisations in the State, claimed the SSP.

The SSP also urged the public to co-operate and not to hamper the investigation by imposing bandhs, strikes etc.
