Imphal, August 26: Asserting that the bomb attack at the residence of Wangkhem A/C MLA Keisham Meghachandra on August 23 was anti-social, the Wangkhem Block Congress Committee has strongly condemned it, conveyed a release.

It also asked all concerned not to undertake such anti-social activity in future.

Likewise, the Phouden Youth Club has also decried the firing attack at the Lilong Chingkham Maning residence of PYC team manager for the Manipur State League 2008-09, Moulana Abdul Salam alias Fashion in the night of August 22 .

Taking strong exception to the act of hurling bomb at the residence of Wabagai A/C MLA Dr U Deben on August 24, the CPI, Wabagai Local Council has appealed to all concern to refrain from such activities in future.

A joint meeting of the officers and staff of Electricity Department has also condemned the act of placing a bomb at the Kwakeithel residence of SE P Jadumani on August 24 .

In a similar vein, the SUN Club, Mongshangei has strongly condemned the firing attacks at the Heinoukhongnembi Konjeng Leikai residence of Executive Engineer of Agriculture Department (mechanised firm) Konthoujam Manoranjan on August 20 and 25 .

It further appealed to all concerned to refrain from undertaking firing attacks at civilian populated areas in future.
