Imphal, June 26: One of the migrant workers who could not be identity out of two shot dead by unidentified gunmen at Natumching in Imphal East district on June 24 has been established as Chandrakumar Sahani (22) s/o Vigyan of Santipur, Bihar.

He had been shot dead by unidentified gunmen along with another migrant worker already identified as Md Nur Ali of Assam.

Along with them, the last rites of the two other migrant workers who were also shot dead at Heinoubok on the same day have been performed.

All India Trade Congress, Manipur; BJP Mahila Morcha, Manipur Pradesh and Lok Janshakti Party, Manipur Pradesh have condemned killing of migrant workers, even as FREINDS hassuggested re-introduction of the ILP System would be the only possible means of protecting the migrant workers in the State.
