Imphal, December 22 2008: A teacher who was shot at by unidentified gunmen at Samurou Naorem under Wangoi Police Station of Imphal West District at around 5.30 pm today later succumbed to his injuries at RIMS Hospital where he was admitted for treatment.

A teacher in Haoreibi Junior High School, 40-yr old Moirangthem Ibocha s/o late Manglem of Samurou Awang Leikai was going on a two wheeler to pick up his wife when the unidentified gunmen shot him.

He was rushed to RIMS Hospital in a critical condition, but succumbed to the injuries at around 6.40.A bullet hit him just below the left side armpit.
