Imphal, September 25: Of the three KCP (MC) suspects shot dead by a combined force of Imphal West commandos and troops of 16 AR at Thangjing Chiru under Patsoi police station last night, two have been identified as Leitanthem Tondonbi (20) s/o Inaocha of Kongpal Chanam Leikai and Maibam Homendro (24) s/o Lukhoi of Mahaaballi.

According to family members, Tondonbi went out from home at about 4 pm yesterday.

On the other hand, Homendro was a newspaper hawker.

He was identified at RIMS morgue this afternoon after the family members were informed by some persons who identified themselves as cadres of KCP (MC).

The corpse of Tondonbi has been claimed by family members after post mortem at RIMS today while the corpse of Homendro remains unclaimed.

On the other hand, a spokesperson of the KRA (U) informed the press that all the three persons shot dead at Thangjing Chiru were its cadres.

They were working under the outfit's project officer Polash.

The spokesperson further alleged that its three cadres were picked up by commandos from different places.

Body claimed: The corpse of Keisham Ibomcha (34) of Sagolband Moirang Hanuba Leirak shot dead by some unidentified persons at Haorang Keirel under Lamsang police station last afternoon has been claimed by family members after post mortem at RIMS today.
