Imphal, December 17 2009: Reacting to the claim of the PRO of IG AR (S) that PLA's 2nd Lt Anil alias Premjit alias Prem alias Ali was killed in an encounter with troops of 29 AR at about 3.30 pm of December 12 and that one 9 mm pistol, one magazine, three live rounds and one diary were recovered from his possession, the proscribed RPF has refuted the claim as baseless.

A press release issued by the outfit's department of publicity chief GM Changjou asserted that Premjit was not a member of the RPF or its army wing PLA.

The individual had not relation whatsoever with the party.

It further contended that Premjit was killed in a fake encounter in cold blood.
