Imphal, May 16 2009: With the discovery of two more corpses today, the number of non-locals found killed inside Keibul Lamjao National Park has reached eight.

According to a police source, the two corpses were found at a spot not far from where five non-locals were found killed on May 11 during a search operation under-taken jointly by Bishnupur District Police and villagers of Khordak this afternoon.

Another body was discovered today.

The three corpses including the one found yesterday have been retrieved by police and deposited at RIMS mortuary.

Out of nine non-local persons taken to Keibul Lamjao National Park by unidentified gun men, five were found killed while one managed to escape as three others remained missing.

According to Md Bablu alias Irshad (20), the three missing persons are Md Safiq (27), Md Bablu alias Twinkel (23) and Md Mubin.

It is suspected that the corpse found yesterday might be of Md Mubin.

All the three missing persons are from Bulandshahar of Uttar Pradesh.
