Imphal, February 16: Under the mission of bringing about peace and transformation in Manipuri society, Love Manipur would be organising a Prayer Walk on March 8 here.

The event would be attended by representatives of various charges both in the hill and the valley.

Announcing this during a press conference at Manipur Press Club here today, chairman of Love Manipur Hawlngam Haokip said the prayer walk is to be organised after coming together of all the Churches in Manipur with the main objective of bringing about peace and transformation.

The prayer walk would be flagged off from Kangla, Imphal by chairman of Manipur Human Rights Commission WA Shishak and would conclude at Hapta Kangjeibung where a public meeting would be convened, he informed, adding that the meeting would be attended by presidents and representatives of various organisations like UCM, AMUCO and other civil societies.
