Imphal, May 12: The Zeliangrong Students Union Manipur (ZSUM) has strongly condemned the firing incident between DHD cadres and army at Ketiang village of Tamenglong district, located in the border with Assam and Nagaland which took place a few days back and left reportedly four civilians critically injured.

A press release issued by ZSUM also condemned the alleged harassment of ZSU Tousem convenor Eleileng by IRB personnel at Tamenglong bus parking Imphal.

It conveyed support to the economic blockade being imposed by ATSUM.

The ZSUM further appealed to all UG groups not to interfere with civil supply agents of Tamenglong district including Khoupum area and also not to demand money from passenger buses.
