Imphal, September 08: The proscribed RPF has deeply condoled the demise of S/S L Cpl Chinglemba alias Huidrom Somendro of Kakching Khunou Thongam Mondum who was shot dead after arrest by Assam Rifles personnel at Kairang Muslim village, Heingangpok on August 28. In a statement, the outfit alleged that Chinglemba was arrested from a house at Mantripukhri on August 27 and later done to death the next day.

Chinglemba joined the outfit on March 10, 2002, said the statement and added that after undergoing basic military training joined the 101 Bn of the PLA.

He was attached to social health and family welfare till December 2003 and was transferred to central bureau on July 14, 2006.While he was in division 2, he was arrested by police commandos in November 2007 and after spending 6 months in jail he was released.

Straight on his release he rejoined the outfit and attached with division 5 of the central bureau.

He was shot dead while he was in the last said posting.

Condoling his demise, the outfit said that it also shares the grief and pain of the bereaved family members.
