Imphal, June 08 2010: The International Manipuri Mothers' Association today stated that Manipur is not only for Naga and Meetei but for different communities having their own distinct identities and living together since time immemorial.

The intention of Muivah, General secretary, NSCN (IM) to enter into the state by force is due to the indifferent attitude of Union home minister, P Chidambram, a statement issued by the association siged by its president Khuman Leima said.

Terming Muivah as criminal, the statement demanded that Muivah must be tried under the Court of law before he is allowed to visit the state.

Muivah's attempt to enter into the state without the permission of the state government and repeated parroting only for the Nagas reveals his parochial outlook, the released observed.

Blaming squarely, the association, reminded the Union government for instability in the state is the out come of the continuos double standard policy of the Centre in the state.

The ongoing econonic blockade on the two national highways is ocastrated by Muivah and his handful of followers with a hidden agenda, it is time for the Centre to take stern actions against the blockers and open the two national highways immediately the statement urged.
