Imphal, November 07 2008: In condemnation of the bomb blast at Ragailong on the night of October 21, a protest demonstration was staged at Khurai Sajor Thoidingjam Leikai along Imphal-Ukhrul road today.

The protest demonstration was organised by Yaipha Nupi Lamjing Lup, Khurai Thoidingjam Leikai.

Among the 17 persons who were killed in the terror attack, two of the victims were from the locality.

Staging the demonstration under the banner of 'Mirakta Bomb Pokhai Hanganu, Eikhoi Shanti Pammi, Bomb Pamde', placards inscribed with slogans like 'Bomb and gun are not the solution', 'Don't target innocent civilians', 'Enough of gun culture, now lets have dome peace', 'We condemn killing of civilians', 'Stop bomb and gun attack immediately', 'Violence will not bring any positive change', 'We want peace and stand for peace', etc were seen being used at the protest site.
