Imphal, April 05 2009: The proscribed KCP has claimed responsibility for eleminating Salam Joy alias Athouba of Arom Nongmathong at Pourabi Nunggoi on April 3 .

In a statement, the outfit said that he was a a cadre of the KCP having received military training but was eliminated for transgressing the rules of the outfit and explained that he was down ranked for indiscipline and not reporting back to the outfit after he took leave on medical grounds in 2007 and instead started indulging in anti-party activities.

The KCP also said that it had no hands in the bomb attack at the residence of the Dr Bilashini or Gram Panchayat member S Gopal onm the ground that he had withdrawn money from the FCI in the name of the KCP in 2003 .

There is no department by the name of Information and Public Relation in the KCP or any post of the Asst secretary.
