Imphal, May 30 2009: Maintaining that killing of Prof Md Islamuddin inside the campus Manipur University disturbs the academic atmosphere of the varsity and discourages its ongoing campaign Eikhoi lairik ningthina tamsi, Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) urged various educational institutions, meira paibees and social organisations to stage protest from May 31 till the concerned authority gives an assurance of not letting to repeat such act in future.

The students' body also urged the State Government to take up necessary measures to bring normalcy in MU campus.

MSF also expressed strong resentment against MU authority for not making any statement regarding the killing of the MU Proctor.
