Imphal, October 29 2009: The OC of Lamphel police station has notified that if no one comes forward to claim the body that was found hung to death inside the rest house at Cheirao Ching on October 25, within the next 72 hours, then it will be disposed off.

Five days have passed since the recovery of the body, but till date no one has claimed it, said the OC in a statement and gave the description of the man as 5 ft 7 inch in height, long face, Kulei Kuchu complexion, short hair, slim built and a black scar on the right leg.

The man appears to be the age group of 25 to 30 and is attired in a half T shirt, brown coloured trouser, two underwears (green and brown), one Moreh plastic chappal and appears to be a Meitei.

The body is presently kept at RIMS morgue.
