Imphal, June 27: Admitting that the bomb blast at Ningthoukhong Bazar yesterday was the greatest blunder of the proscribed PREPAK's Cobra Team, the outfit has admitted its guilt in the case.

A press release issued by the outfit's secretary in-charge of the department of publicity and propaganda Aheiba Angom disclosed that the explosive was hurled by one of its cadres in a fit of rage on hearing some individuals shouting anti-party words before fleeing.

Clarifying that the party's higher authority did not order for setting off the bomb nor the cadres sought permission for such an act, the party too condemned the blunder.

Pledging to avoid such disastrous gaffe in future, the outfit pleaded to pardon them for the unfortunate incident.

While also sharing the pain and anguish of the injured victims and the people, the outfit assured all possible assistance to the injured victims.

Meanwhile KCP (MC) has clarified that it was not behind the bomb attack at Ningthoukhong, said a statement issued by Tamnganba Meetei.
