Imphal, June 17: A joint meeting of the Rural United Clubs' Organisation, Imphal West I, Kangchup Area Chiefs' Assn, Nupi Khunai Apunba Lup Lamsang, Kuki Inpi Twibul Kangchup Lhang, Rural Tribal Development Organisation, Imphal West, Kangchup Area Tribal Youth Organisation, Apunba Nupi Lup Lairenkabi, Kangchup Area Women Human Rights Wing and the AMUCO has strongly condemned the Moreh killings of June 9, conveyed a release.

While appealing to all concerned not to undertake such internecine killings in future, they also shared the pain and anguish endured by the bereaved families.

Asking all to give up communal mindsets, the meeting called upon all to share the vicissitudes of every ethnic group together so that a united and peaceful Manipur can be handed over to the next generation, conveyed the release.
