Imphal, April 17 2009: Apunba Lup yesterday organised a free medical camp for the people who have been displaced from their homesteads following the Operation Summer Storm of the Army at Loktak Lake and are taking shelter at the makeshift relief camp set up for them at Ithai Khunjao.

In all 570 villagers availed the benefit of the medical camp conducted by a team of doctors and nurses from RIMS.

Medical doctors like Meikenlung Kamei, Arunkumar and O Rameshor, Gynaecology doctors like Tamphaibema and Lalkrasthangi and Paediatrics like Th Devaraj and Oinam Probita Devi who were duly assisted by seven nurses extended medical treatment to the villagers during the medical camp.

Medicines prescribed by the doctors were also distributed among the villagers at the occasion.
