Imphal, August 04: Residence of one Md Habibur Rehman alias Amitabh (22) located at Sangaiyumpham Cherapur under Thoubal police station came under a twin bomb attack one after another at about 8.30 last night.

Although there was no human casualty due to the twin bomb attack undertaken by some unidentified persons, some portions of the verandah were damaged.

Habibur Rehman is a personnel of 3rd IRB and is currently posted at 1st MR oil depot, informed a police source.

At the same moment, when Habibur Rehman's house came under bomb attack, some unidentified persons fired 4/5 rounds at the house of one Amzad Ali (35) belonging to the same locality.

There was no casualty in the firing attack.

Amzad Ali is a leader of Thoubal District Youth Congress.
