Imphal, November 03 2008: While claiming responsibility for the bomb blast at the residence of Huidrom Dhana at Khurai Salanthong Chaithabi Leirak yesterday, the proscribed KCP has clarified that the bomb was targeted at the residence Dhana's elder brother Huidrom Iboyaima.

In a press release issued by its fund raiser-in-charge, general project Wanglen Khuman, the outfit conveyed that the bomb was hurled at the wall of Iboyaima's house instead of hurling it over the roof or through the window so as to avoid any casualty to the people who were there on the roof and standing near the window.

After hitting the wall, the bomb fell on tin roof of Dhana's house before it landed in between the two houses (Dhana's and Iboyaima's) where it exploded, it said.

It was not a life attempt but last warning to Iboyaima, the outfit clarified.

Conveying regret over the damage caused to Dhana's house, it asserted that it would be far better for Iboyaima to come to an agreement with the outfit soon.

On the other hand, accusing one Hijam Tombisana of Langdum Mayai Leikai of working as an informer of security forces, the outfit asked the individual to contact the party within five days.
