ZSU (Noney) concerned over girl trafficking

Imphal, September 30: The Zeliangrong Students' Union, Longmai (Noney) Area (ZSULA) has expressed deep concern over the reports of the five girls belonging to the Zeliangrong community who fled the Malaysian night clubs.

A press release of the student union by its secretary Chunthuigai Kameiwarned all those Singapore based agents against alluring innocent girls and added that the agents would be penalized if they were found guilty of luring the five girls.

Adding that the five girls fall under the jurisdiction of the ZSULA, the students' body stated that the agents would be penalized as per the Zeliangrong Customary Law and then be handed over to the police.

The students' body has also warned the parents and guardians against the temptations by the so called Singapore based agents.

The students' body also held that the two agents who have been booked should be given a harsh punishment as to deter other agents.
