Imphal, August 16 2009: The proscribed KCP(MC) has claimed its hands in the bomb attacks at Catholic Charitable Hospital, Koirengei on Augsut 14, Dr Hemabati's residence at Uripok Laikhurembi on August 15 and the Chamber of Commerce on August 15 .

A press release issued by the outfit's information and public relation officer Puranthaba asserted that the attacks were undertaken for the failure of the private hospitals/clinics to follow the guidelines set by the party.

Saying that the party too observed Patriots' Day on August 13 in honour of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the freedom of Kangleipak, the outfit pledged that it would struggle relentlessly to regain sovereignty treaused by the martyrs.

The outfit also lauded the public for not attending the Independence Day celebrating thereby making the general strike complete.
