Imphal, November 05 2008: The proscribed RPF has expressed deep condolence to the UNLF who lost two MPA cadres when an attack was carried out at the Veng Khul post of Indian security force on october 30 night.

A statement issued by the RPF's chief of department of communication & Publicity N Wangba also conveyed of sharing sorrow of the bereaved families.

MPA's Cpl asangbam Athingba alias Bungomacha of Chalou Maning Leikai and L/cpl Ningthoujam Sangai alias Rajeshwor of Keibul Makha Leikai were killed in a series of landmine explosion planted by the Indian security forces in and around the said post, Wangba recounted of the incident that took place in Singhat sub-division of churachandpur district.
