Imphal, March 20 2009: Claiming responsibility for the bomb attacks at Babina Diagnostic Centre, Imphal Hospital and Suba Hospital in the past few days, the banned KCP (MC) asserted that the attacks were launched for the obstinacy of these establishments and their failure to follow the agreements reportedly struck with the outfit.

A press release issued by KCP (MC)'s information and public relation officer Puranthaba while announcing that its corrective/clean-up campaign will be taken forward, the outfit cautioned people not to visit clinics, private hospitals etc.

It asserted that the campaign of rectification and movement to bring an egalitarian and secure society also demands people's momentous responsibility.

Saying that KCP (MC) has taken up actions against corrupt Government, high- ranking officials and wealthy individuals, it maintained that there is no need to talk any more as these corrupt individuals have refused to mend their ways when approached with due manner.

The outfit also stated that if the commandos go ahead with their agenda of eliminating the cadres, then the Govt should bear the responsibilities of the fall out.

The outfit cautioned all those involved in misleading people not to stage protest demonstration against the bomb attacks.

While regretting the injuries caused to innocent civilians in the bomb attack at Suba hospital, the outfit informed that the bomb attacks in the past few days were carried out under the supervision of Imphal West district commander Rocky.
