Victorious Charenamei thanks voters

Imphal, May 19: Mani Charenamei born at Thonglak Akutpa Village of Senapati district on February 10, 1959 was a Manipur Forest Service cadre with his last posting as Divisional Forest Officer, Jamenglong before retiring from service to contest the Lok Sabha election from Outer Manipur Parliamentary constituency as an independent candidate.

Having held several post of student organisations Charenamei was also actively involved in social causes.

He completed matriculation from Don Bosco High School, Imphal in 1976 and graduated in Bio-cherrtistry from DM College of Science before completing Masters degree in Forestry from State Forest Service College, Burnihat.

Meanwhile, in separate messages the victorious Mani Charenamei and Elders Forum, Manipur extended their heartfelt gratitude to the electorates of Outer Manipur Parliamentary constituency for their mandate in the Lok Sabha elections.

Mani Charenamei thanking the voters irrespective of their political affiliation said he will strive to bring peace and fulfil the wishes of all the electorates cutting across caste, creed and religious barrier.

Elders Forum, who sponsored the independent candidate in the Outer seat endorsed the commitment of Mani Charenamei to alleviate the grievances of the deprived section of the society.
