Imphal, June 05: Taking serious note of news reports regarding NSCN (IM) having opened designated camps within the State boundary, the CPI (M) Manipur State Committee demanded that both the State and Central Governments intervene and order closure of the camps before tension mounts and create chaos.

As the Centre and the State had already announced that ceasefire is not extended to Manipur there is no justification in the outfit opening camps, maintained the party.
