Imphal, March 30: Former chief minister RK Ranbir Keishamthong Assembly constituency, P Rathing President Janata party Manipur Subrahmarium group and hundred members of Gandhi Memorial Rickshaw drivers' union Manipur join BJP today.

Th Chaoba ex-MP Lok Sabha warmly accepted their request to join the BJP.

RK Ranbir submitted a letter to the president BJP Manipur Pradesh on March 27 expressing his commitment to join the BJP.

He also pledges to extend whole hearted and unconditional, support to the BJP I the forth coming parliamentary elections.

He is one of the veteran and seasoned politicians in Manipur starting his career as a member of the congress party and general secretary.

During his past political carrier he became cabinet minister several times and ultimately, he became chief minister of Manipur when the MPP formed the government from 1990 to 1992.The reason, which prompted him to join the BJP, is his admiration of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

S Nilakanta president Gandhi Memorial Rickshaw drivers' Union, Manipur along with hundred members of the Union admitted the primary membership of BJP today.

Th Chaoba president BJP Manipur Pradesh accepted their request.

The Chaoba said media persons that he will submit his nomination file tomorrow for the inner Manipur Parliamentary constituency.

A manifesto of Manipur State will be produced within a few days.

Gagong Apang chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh will come to Imphal on April 6 to launch election campaign for BJP candidate.
