The North East Students Society Delhi University (NESSDU) organised a one-day cleanliness drive programme on June 15 2014 with the theme "I Love Delhi University" where many students from North East took part in cleaning the dirty roads in and around Delhi University main campus.
Lauding the cleanliness drive of the North East students in Delhi University, Delhi Police Nodal Officer for North East IGP Robin Hibu (IPS) commented, "It brought a good name for NE and many Delhites were speechless by seeing NE boys and girls cleaning the roads."
"I hope NE youth will clean more areas like Munirka, Gandhi Vihar, Mukherjee Nagar, JNU, Jamia, Janakpuri in the days to come," he further added.
