Hundreds and thousands of people in Imphal, Manipur lined-up for oil and other essential commodities which are running low as on August 28 2011.
The scarcity is attributed to the Sadar Hill District Demand committee calling for indefinite Economic Blockade in the two lifelines of Manipur National Highway and then the Naga organisation calling counter blockade and bandh in the two national highway.
