FRIENDS Advisor, Kakchingtabam Birahari Sharma (KB Sharma), who fasted for implementation of Inner Line Permit (ILP) System in Manipur, was released on bail by Imphal West Duty Magistrate from JNIMS Hospital on 14th July 2012.
He was warmly welcomed by Convener of the Joint Committee Sapamcha Jadumani and other volunteers of the committee at MDU in a public felicitation programme .
KB Sharma is from Thongju. Later he broke his fast with a glass of water.
The State Assembly had passed on July 14 2012 a Private Member Resolution to extend Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation 1873 in Manipur and press the Centre for the same.
