Inter Zonal SS Football : Sainik School Imphal claim U-17 title

Imphal, August 12 2019: Sainik School Imphal's U-17 boys will be representing All India Sainik School at this years Subroto Cup International Football Tournament as they claimed the title of the said category on Sunday in the Inter Zonal Sainik School Football Championship which was hosted by Sainik School Amaravathinagar since August 5.U-14 boys of Sainik School Imphal finished runners up as Sainik School Tilaiya made the most of the points.

Although the Sainik School Imphal U-14 boys missed the chance to take part in the Subroto Cup, its cadet Lalsanglen was adjudged best player.

Principal of Sainik School Imphal, Group Captain, HCS Chouhan and parents of the cadets representing the teams expressed happiness over the achievement of their wards and further wished success in the 60th Subroto Cup International Football Championship which will be held from September 7 to 14 this year in Delhi.
