YUCC to lock horns with YWC for U-16 Cricket title

Imphal, February 10 2020: YUCC, Kwakeithel and YWC, Langthabal will fight it for the crown of the 2nd MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajninthou Singh Memorial Trophy 2020.YUCC made it to the final with a 10 wicket win against Model Club at Model Hr Secondary and Oriental College ground today while YWC completed the final with a 8 wicket thrashing of RCA, Lilong at Luwangpokpa Cricket Ground.

At Model Hr Secondary and Oriental College ground, Model Club were all out for 53 in 13 overs after electing to bat first as YUCC's Dibak and Punshiba wreaked havoc by claiming three wickets each.

Ishan with 24 runs was the only double digit scorer for the team in the innings.

In reply, Thoiba hit 39 off 34 balls to steer YUCC to the huge win.

N Dibak who finished with best bowling figure of 3-0-11-3 was adjudged man of the match.

Meanwhile at Luwangpokpa Cricket ground, RCA posted 127 for 8 after being let to bat first and YWC rode on Seram Robinson's 25 run knock and unbeaten 20 by Soubam Robinson to finish the chase in 24 overs with 8 wickets left in the hand.

Soubam Robinson who also took 4 wickets in RCA's innings was named man of the match.
