Imphal, October 31 2014 : Extending heartiest greetings to people of the Chin-Kuki-Mizo community on the auspicious occasion of Kut, the All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) has urged the State Level Kut Committee (SLKC) to respect the press and make necessary arrangements to allow all bonafide journalists to cover such an important public function as Kut.

The Union also appealed to all its bonafide members who are assigned by their respective media organisations to cover the festival and discharge their duties professionally and display press ID cards to avoid awkward incidents.
