Imphal, July 13 2009: The Film Forum Manipur (FFM) today a two minute silent to mark condolence service at its office on the dead of the renowned Manipuri film actress, drama artist and singer, Sarungbam Debla on July 11 last.

The condolence service was observed after meeting presided by the chairman of the forum, W Lalitkumar held today.

During the meeting members attending the meeting recalled her outstanding performances in the field of arts, a statement issued by the general secretary of FFM, R K Chandrakumar stated.

The Apunba Manipur Matam Ishei Kanglup (AMMIK) also expressed their shock on the untimely passing away of Sarungbam Debla, who took major role in uplifting Manipuri Matam Ishei.

They also observed a two-minute silence in a meeting held on July 12 last said a statement of AMMIK issued by its Assistant Secretary (Administration), M Dhananjoy.
