Imphal, July 18 2009:
The relay hunger strike as a part of Save Sharmila Campaign launched by the Sharmila Kanba Lup has completed 221 days Saturday.
Around 55 members of the Soibam Leikai Porompat Ayangpalli Road Meira Paibee have participated in today's relay hunger strike.
SAKAL convenors, K Taruni and AK Janaki have spoke on the occasion, a release issued by SAKAL co-convenor, Momon Leima stated.
Meanwhile, similar campaign launched in Thoubal district by the SAKAL has completed 163 days today.
Around 70 womenfolk of the Kakching Laikon Ideal Club have staged the protest today at the club's premises.
Nirmal and Bimola have spoke on the occasion, it stated.
