Bank employees appeal to Maoist

Imphal, August 02 2013 :
A meeting of Imphal Urban Cooperative Bank employees conducted today has appealed Maoist Communist Party to call off for some days the later's general strike to be called on August 5 .
A press release issued by the Convenor of the IUCB Ltd, said that the proposed general strike was called by Maoist Communist Party regarding dissatisfaction in the conduct of Board of Management of IUCB Ltd.
It then urged to bring an undersatnding between the two sides so that the bank employees can perform their duties as usual for the service of the people.
