Felicitation cum career counselling programme held at Ukl, meritorious students feted at Kpi, Bpr, Kak

Ukl/Kpi/Bpr/Kak, May 26 2019: Lower Hungpung Youth Organization (LHYO) has organised a felicitation cum career counselling programme for the meritorious students of Mayotang Hungpung village, Ukhrul, who have passed HSLC and HSSLC examinations, today.

Dr Achan Mungleng, who attended the programme as resource person, enlightened the students about the educational career options available based on their subject offered in higher secondary level while LHYO president, Wungchipem Mahung stressed the needs of collective effort to produce more good students from the village.

Wungchipem also said that LHYO will take up several activities to improve education system in the village.

He then thanked Hungpung Khayaiwo, THYSO and other local organisations for their support in the programme.

KANGPOKPI: Vengthah ward no 3 Committee felicitated its meritorious students who secured good ranks in the recently declared Class X and XII examination conducted by BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE in a simple felicitation function held at the residence of chairman, Ward Committee.

Altogether, twenty six meritorious students from the ward successfully who cleared Class X and XII examinations 2019 with flying colours including one state level subject topper under COHSEM were felicitated during the function.

Vengthah ward no 3 chairman, Rev Thangboi David and family conferred Nehchunghao Meritorious Award to three meritorious students who have secured very high percentage among others namely Lamtinkai Gangte (80.5%) in Class X under BOSEM, Mangminlal Khongsai (93%) in Class XII under CBSE and Debbie Chongneiphal Doungel (State Subject topper in MTL/Th-Kuki) in memory of their beloved son Nehchunghao.

Rev Thangboi David, chairman Vengthah ward no3 said that the felicitation programme was organized annually to motivate students from the locality in their studies while adding that the pass percentage is growing higher and much better this year as compared to the previous years.

He congratulated all the meritorious students and parents for their untiring efforts and struggles while motivating the students and wishes them better performance in their future endeavours.

Congratulations, appreciation, presentation and thanksgiving marked the occasion.

BISHNUPUR: A felicitation function to honour deserving students from Thanga Kendra who have excelled in the recently declared Class X and XII exams conducted by COHSEM, BOSEM, CBSE and other board was organized by Social & Educational Development Organisation Ithing today at Ithing Community Hall.

The function was attended by Up-Adhakshya, Bishnupur ZP member Ningthoujam Dinesh Singh as chief guest; Head Nurse RIMS Moirangthem Sundari Devi as functional president and Head Master Agape Children Junior High Schook Ithing Moirangthem Ibosana Singh, Revenue Dept officials Moirangthem Maniboi Singh, IRB Khwairakpam Leingam Singh, social worker Kh Paka, Manipur Police Kh Gandha and social worker M Mukta as guests of honour.

During the felicitation function, 26 students who outshone in Class XII exams and 65 students who performed better in Class X exams conducted by COHSEM, CBSE, BOSEM and other Board from the area covered by SEDO including Ithing Takmu, Ithing Sendra, Ithing Heikol, Ithing Mamang, Ithing Maning and Ithing Khola were honoured and encouraged with certificate of appreciation and also handed over Oxford Dictionary, GK and cash incentives.

Meanwhile, a felicitation function was also held to honour outstanding students who gave their best performance in Class X, XII exams conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur and Council of Higher Secondary Examination Manipur including the 4th position holder, 1st divisioner, 1st divisioner in Class X exam 2018 and 1st position holder in BA Honours 2017 from ward no 5, Moirang Municipal Council.

The function was organized by Mairembam Youths' Development Association (MYDA), Moirang at Leikoipung Community Hall, Moirang which was attended by Councilor ward no 5, Moirang Municipal Council, M Madhavi Devi and ward members M Iboyaima Singh, Ph Shanti Singh as dignitaries.

During the function, 4th position holder of Class XII (Science) Rivaraj Mairembam; 1st position holder in BA Honours English 2017, Kalpana Mairembam; Urikhinbam Sadananda Singh who got selected in MBBS selection exams 2018; 22nd position holder of Class X exams 2016, Rakesh Mairembam; five 1st divisioners of Class XII exams 2019; eight 1st divisioners of Class X exams; and four 1st divisioners of Class X exams 2018 were honoured with certificate of appreciation, momentoes and cash incentives.

Speaking on the occasion, 4th position holder Rivaraj Mairembam said that he aspires to become an IAS officer to serve the people.

He also said that the students will achieve success if they obey their teachers and parents adding that the parents should also listen to the aspiration of the children to bring positive results.

He also stressed on the importance of frank communication between the parents and their children to come to a logical and productive conclusion.

Everybody can become successful through work hard and sincerity and can tranform their potential into reality with determination and perseverance.

KAKCHING: Padma Ratna English School, Kakching has felicitated its meritorious students who have acquired 75pc and above in the recently declared HSLC examination and 15th position holder, Kshetrimayum Galax Singh with simple gifts and cash awards, today.

The felicitation programme was attended by Padma Ratna English School, management committee, president Kshetrimayum Aber Singh; secretary Dr Salam Khogen; Principal-in-charge Salam Ibeton Devi and several senior teachers and members of the school.

Kshetrimayum Galax Singh is the son of Ksh Sharat and Damayanti Devi from Kakching Mayai Leikai.
