Thoubal, January 16 2022: In all, 2,54,179 beneficiaries in Thoubal district have been administered the Covid-19 vaccine during the Vaccination Programme for the district which commenced on January 16, 2021 .

Of the total number of beneficiaries, 1,51,707 received the first dose of the vaccine and 1,02,302 both the doses till Saturday.

For beneficiaries above 60 years of age, 19,996 have received the first dose and 15,627 administered the second dose.

Among the 45-59 age group, a total of 34,260 beneficiaries were administered the first dose and 25.814 with the second dose while for beneficiaries in the age group of 18 to 44 years, 84,330 have received the first dose and 51,010 taken the second dose.

On the other-hand, 1952 beneficiaries between the age of 15 and 17 years received the first dose of the vaccine up till Saturday while 8006 frontline workers in the district received first dose and 7221 inoculated for the second time.

Among the healthcare workers in the district, a total of 3163 beneficiaries were given the first dose and 2730 received the second dose while 170 beneficiaries have been administered the third (booster) dose.
