Bishnupur records seven Covid cases

Imphal, September 01 2021:
For the first time since onset of the COVID-19 second wave, Bishnupur district •registered single digit daily case on Wednesday as only seven persons contracted the viral disease.
A release by district information officer Bishnupur informed that the cumulative number of cases in the district stands at 8722 while there are 244 active cases, out of which 69 are quarantining in community isolation centres, 77 are undergoing home isolation, 66 at hospitals outside the district, 11 at CCC Ningthoukhong, 19 at Covid isolation ward, Loukoipat Bishnupur and two patients at high dependency unit of district hospital.
The total number of recovered cases has also risen to 8,215 including 35 personnel of central forces, said the release and informed that there was no report of death for the second day.
It also reported that 555 people were vaccinated on Wednesday taking the total count of vaccinated persons to 1,51,413, including 26,593 who have received their second dose of vaccine.
