KVK conducts five-day RAWE workshop

Noney, November 17 2021: A five-day programme on Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) jointly organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Tamenglong and ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region Manipur Centre, Lamphelpat commenced from Wednesday at Longmai Part 4 Peaceland, Noney district.

As a part of the programme, field visit cum interaction with the farmers was carried out by students of BSc Agriculture (4th year) of South Asian Institute of Rural and Agriculture Management (SAIRAM), Langjing Achouba, Imphal.

The student also planted cabbage saplings at Kamangkung Lao, Noney under the guidance of subject matter specialists of KVK Tamenglong led by KVK Tupul programme coordinator Dr Kolom Rabi.

The SAIRAM students also conducted a house-to-house mapping programme with farmers.
