Thoubal, October 31 2020: As part of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) and National Vector Borne Disease Control Program (NVBDCP), staff of District Vector Borne Disease Control Programme Thoubal distributed chemically treated mosquito nets (Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets) to beneficiaries under the jurisdiction of Primary Health Sub- Center Khoirom-Kekru, today.

The mosquito nets were distributed during a function held under the initiative of District Malaria Officer Thoubal Dr Y Nokul at Yairipok Kekru Multipurpose Community Hall.

Yairipok Municipal Council Ward no 7 Councillor, G Ingocha Sharma; Ward no 8 Councillor, K Ito Singh, local elders Laishram Nillo Singh, Longjam Gambhir Singh, Longjam Yaima and Soraisham Tombi Singh were the presidium members of the function.

Altogether 368 chemically treated mosquito nets were distributed.
