Kangpokpi, October 18 2021: Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency MLA Nemcha Kipgen has stressed on the importance of uni ty and service to mankind among the auto drivers of Kangpokpi as she inaugurated the office of Kangpokpi Auto Owners' Association at Kangpokpi District Headquarters on Monday.

The MLA said that unity is an important element for the society "we live in, as we all together form this whole nation", while adding, "Strength is always with the Unity is a well-known phrase and it is totally true and unity represents togetherness and being there for each other like we all are one".

She also said that the principle of unity ensures happiness and peace in both society and the nation, and where there is peace and happiness, development is sure to come.

While appreciating the auto drivers for their contribution to society, the MLA motivated them to work not only for earning but consider their service as a service to mankind.

She also lauded the auto drivers for toiling hard even during emergencies by avoiding various illegal sources of livelihood which many people indulge for easy money.

The MLA further exhorted the people of Kangpokpi AC to stop poppy cultivation and also avoid encouraging such illegal practices which can ruin the future of the society, especially the younger generation.

"Kangpokpi town is a mini India where all communities irrespective of caste, creed and religions live peacefully," said the MLA while encouraging everyone to maintain the prevailing peace and harmony among diverse communities.

Kangpokpi Auto Owners' Association (KAOA) was formed in 2010 and registered in 2012.Association president Satlen Kipgen while expressing heartfelt gratitude to all donors and contributors in the construction of the office, presented a gift to all of them as a token of gratitude and love.
